I was asked during a game today about the movement for 'Double Time' and the block of units moving. Although 99% sure, that 1% of doubt has bugged me if I told my opponent incorrectly. In a block(line) as shown below:

1 2 3 4 5

my opponent asked if they could move units 1, 2, 3, & 5 since they were 'linked'. I said no, it had to be units 1-4 or 2-5 (adjacent linked hexes). Which is correct? I figure this applies to Inspired Leadership as well?

Hi Cavie,

You may 'order/activate' units that are in the same block. The rules don't indicate that they have to move. So, you would be able to activate 1,2,3,4, and 5 but only move 1,2,3 and 5 ; leaving 4 in its place.

I don't have the card with me here, but if I recall correctly, the card allows a number of units up to your command hand size to be activated. So, in the example give, you should have at least 5 command to activate all these units.

In the spirit of the game, I would suggest that all units should move. But technically, I think it isn't necessary for the units to actually move.

Cheers,
