Hi Mates
C&C Expansion Nr2 just arrived today , and tomorrow a few friends are comming over to give it a go.
I have enough figures so that we can play with painted figures.
After we play C&C Expansion Nr2 a few times, we'll see if we can do a small campaign,,, linking all battles and with a running total of all the flags.
CHeers

Hi Mike,
Sounds good. ampaigns are always fun.
We are trying to figure out a fast way to play campaigns by using a card system.
You would play a 'conquering campaign' that would allow a certain number of Points/ army with certain limits to attack, while the defender might play a 'river crossing ambush'.
The result would be a battle. It's still in the early stages, but the ideas are promising.
Cheers,

HI Tom,
until we get the card-campaign that you suggested, we are playing all the battles in Expansion 2 and counting them as a campaign..
I am Roman and my friend is Barbarian.
The first two scenarios are really pro roman,, I lost them both ,, my diece were ice cold.
the third was a major victory
so I am leading on trophies , but the next scenario is the Germans wipe out a Roman army,, yeiks,,, but who knows
cheers

Hi Mike,
Roman Generals were not always of the bzest quality. This often had to do with the way they were chosen.
Sometimes the Roman Senate would just send someone they wanted to get rid of to the front (often with not enough resources).
I have full confidence in your commander skills. You'll do well. After all...they are only Barbarians!
Keep your wit about and you'll be fine.
Cheers,

Hi Tom
Scenario 4 historical , Germans wipe out a Roman army, but not today, Nemisis was with me and it was a grand victory
Barbarians 4 , Romans 7
Scenario 5 istorical Romans crush salve rebelion in Syclia, this they did very well, Nemisis was with me again , another Roamn Victory
Slaves 2 , Romans 6
The cards and the dice were with me , and at the critical moments , the poor Barbarian rolled dreadfuly,, but he'll be back next week for revenge
Before that , I and a French man played M44, my Germans got kicked all around in all the landings.,,,
but the nice thing with the C&C games is they are good fun and exciting even when one loses
Cheers
